Description:
Our client requires a warehouse supervisor to assist with the receiving and despatching of mild steel products and able to work shifts from Monday to Friday.
Experience and Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Warehouse as a Supervisor, from a steel or manufacturing environment, able to identify steel and tube and other steel related products.
- Computer literate
- Have a stable work record and contactable references
- Of sober habits
- Be physically fit, energetic, and able to work on your feet, able to pick up steel
- Able to work under pressure
- Reside on the East Rand
- Hours: Nightshift: Monday to Friday 18:00 – 04:00, Dayshift: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:00, Morning shift: Monday to Friday 04:00 – 13:00, Every alternative Saturday and Public Holiday from 08:00 – 13:00 (on a roster basis)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the correct stock is loaded for the following days delivery
- Check incoming stock
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager
- Route planning
- General housekeeping duties
