Our client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper who can work in a fast-paced and technical environment.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- At least 6 – 10 years’ experience with debtors & creditors
- A post matric qualification in Bookkeeping
- Computer literate
- Intermediate on Excel
- Knowledge of Crytal & SAGE would be an advantage
Duties & Responsibilities
- General filing
- Manage Debtors and Creditors clerk and their tasks
- Assist and control debtors clerk administrator with tasks
- Credit control of customers
- Cashflow forecasts
- Customer credit application forms (full process)
- Creditors month end payment sign off’s
- Month end recons for debtors / creditors reporting
- Cashbook processing / recon
- Tasks related to debtors and creditors
- Vehicle fleet management/administration of maintenance
- Monthly VAT returns
- Petty cash control
- Office consumable control
- Interco processes (journals in GL, AP and AR)

- Must be computer literate
- Excel skills and the ability to learn (at an intermediate level)
- At least 2-4 years’ debtors experience
- Knowledge of Crystal and SAGE will be advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities
- General filing
- Sending invoices and statements to customers
- Contacting customers for collections
- Month end recons
- Daily capturing of receipts
- Review customer credit application forms
- Review customer limits
- Assist with accounts payable capturing and matching of invoices
