Ideal profile:
Senior measurement/instrumentation sales leader with strong regional market knowledge, experience driving bookings/forecasting, and confidence as a subject matter expert supporting projects, customers, and internal teams.
Experience & Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Management or a relevant Instrumentation / Process Control field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in Measurement, Instrumentation, or Process Automation sales.
- At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience with Emerson Measurement Solutions or equivalent technology.
- Strong understanding of the industrial automation and instrumentation market within Southern Africa.
- Proven record in achieving sales growth and product management excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Emerson’s Measurement Solutions range.
- Drive sales growth, market penetration, and business development across the region.
- Develop and implement strategic product growth initiatives to achieve sales and booking targets.
- Act as the key liaison regarding pricing, business practices, and operational alignment.
- Manage Emerson Dollar Booking Numbers, reporting accuracy, and forecasting.
- Support project pursuits, customer engagement, and contract execution.
- Facilitate internal training and capability development for the sales and service teams.
- Provide product performance and market analysis reports to management.
