Overview
We’re looking for a driven Technical Sales Representative to grow key accounts, win new business, and support customers across Distributors, Contractors, Consulting Engineers and End Users. Start date:
Position available to start February or March 2026.
Ideal profile:
3+ years PFV external sales + structured pipeline + confident on specs and applications + disciplined quoting and approvals + GP/markup governance + professional reporting and customer training.
Experience & Requirements
- 3+ years proven external sales experience in Pipes, Fittings & Valves.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and apply product and application specifications.
- Track record of meeting/exceeding targets and managing a structured pipeline.
- Solid commercial acumen: GP/markup discipline, ROE awareness, and pricing governance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
- Available to start February or March 2026.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, grow and maintain a healthy customer base across assigned segments and territories.
- Keep customer records 100% up to date (contacts, interactions, opportunities, pricing history).
- Hit order intake and sales budgets monthly and annually.
- Deliver customer training (products, applications, best practices) as needed.
- Own and resolve customer requirements, queries and problems end-to-end.
- Generate accurate, compliant quotes per company SOP and file with reference numbers in the shared system.
- Obtain quote/order approvals in line with limits of authority.
- Monitor gross profit (GP) and markup; never quote below minimum GP/markup or ruling ROE without approval.
- Conduct technical presentations on company capability, product ranges and specifications.
- Map market segments and product mix per customer/area to drive growth plans.
- Handle account administration: follow up on payments, quotations, orders, invoices, and account detail updates.
- Report weekly on customer visits, pipeline and next-week plans.
