Overview
Our client is currently seeking a dynamic salesperson with extensive knowledge of stainless steel round bar to join their team. This role suits a driven sales professional from a stainless steel trading background who can grow accounts and advise customers on grades, finishes and applications.
Ideal profile:
Stainless steel trading sales + strong round bar knowledge (grades/finishes/applications) + disciplined pipeline and customer follow-up.
Experience & Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience as a sales representative from a stainless steel trading background.
- Proven track record in external sales, with a deep understanding of round bar, stainless steel grades, finishes and applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate win-win agreements.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively, while collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the stainless steel industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of stainless steel products and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and timely delivery of products.
- Provide expert advice and technical support, guiding customers in selecting the right stainless steel solutions for their projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
