Our client, a local distributor of mild steel and tube, is looking for an experienced Internal Salesperson to join their dynamic sales team. The role focuses on reselling a wide range of steel products while providing professional support to customers.
Ideal profile:
Retail steel sales experience + strong customer service + disciplined quoting and follow-up + team player mindset.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the retail steel industry (essential).
- Computer literate.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ranges, pricing, and industry trends.
- Assist with inventory coordination and stock level management.
