Overview
Our client is currently seeking a dynamic salesperson with extensive knowledge of stainless steel round bar to join their team. This is an internal sales role focused on supporting customers, converting enquiries into orders, and advising on grades, finishes, and applications.
Ideal profile:
Stainless steel trading sales + strong round bar knowledge (grades/finishes/applications) + disciplined quoting and follow-through.
Experience & Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in internal sales from a stainless steel trading background.
- Strong understanding of round bar, stainless steel grades, finishes, and applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while collaborating with colleagues.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the stainless steel industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities using your product and application knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and on-time delivery.
- Provide expert advice and technical support to guide customers to the correct solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
