Wynberg Permanent Market Related Steel / Tube

Overview

Our client is looking for a dynamic person to resell mild steel and tube. The ideal candidate must be technically minded, a quick learner, and confident engaging customers telephonically while converting enquiries into orders.

Ideal profile:

Mild steel trading exposure + strong phone sales + fast quoting and follow-up + consistent target achievement.

Experience & Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • 3+ years recent experience trading mild steel or related products (advantage).
  • Computer literate (Syspro would be an advantage).
  • Reside close to Wynberg / Sandton.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
  • Able to close deals and meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Good telephone and communication skills.
  • Reliable transport.
  • Stable work record and contactable references.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interact daily with customers telephonically.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Assist customers with their selections and solutions.
  • Process and follow up on orders.
  • Increase sales through structured follow-up and upselling where relevant.
  • Meet and reach sales targets.
  • Cold call for new business.
