Overview

Our client, a leading stockist of mild steel and tube, is looking for a dynamic External Sales Representative to join their sales team. The ideal candidate must be hungry for sales and confident building and growing a customer base.

Ideal profile:

Strong external sales ability + mild steel & tube product knowledge + disciplined pipeline management + consistently hitting targets.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 3 years external sales experience, preferably within the steel and tube industry.
Strong understanding of steel products, applications, and industry standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Actively seek new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the steel and tube sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide technical product knowledge and advice to customers.
Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
