Overview

Our client is seeking a driven External Sales Representative with a passion for fencing and wire products. The role involves servicing existing customers while developing new business in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas.

Ideal profile:

External sales experience + fencing product knowledge (palisade, ClearVu, diamond mesh, razor wire) + strong contractor relationships.

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ recent external sales experience in fencing or a similar industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of palisade fencing, ClearVu, diamond mesh, and razor wire.
  • Experience calling on contractors, architects, construction, and related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage sales activities effectively.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of fencing products including palisade fencing, ClearVu, diamond mesh, and razor wire.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas.
  • Provide expert advice on fencing solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and follow up on leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the branch team to ensure seamless customer service and support.
