Overview
Are you a driven sales professional with a strong technical background in utility and pipeline infrastructure? We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to expand business within the trenchless technology and leak detection sectors. You’ll engage with municipalities, engineers, and contractors, demonstrating the value of specialised products and services while building long-term client relationships.
Ideal profile:
Technical sales (utility/plumbing/civil) + confident presentations + hands-on product understanding (leak detection, GPR scanning, relining, CCTV) + disciplined pipeline management + strong relationship building across public and private sector projects.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales within the utility, plumbing, or civil engineering industries.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Utility location and leak detection
- GPR and concrete scanning
- Pipeline relining and rehabilitation
- CCTV inspection and reporting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full sales pipeline.
- Valid driver’s license.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow and maintain the client base.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for key customers.
- Offer expert advice on project requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals and tender documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in both public and private sectors.
